Wall Street seen higher amid trade talk tensions

United States stock index futures pointed to a higher open on Friday as investors remained focused on the second round of talks between Washington and Beijing. On Thursday, US President Donald Trump voiced his concern over the trade deal with China, stating that he "tends to doubt" the trade agreement with China will be concluded due to the fact that the Asian country "has become very spoiled." Meanwhile, the oil market was also in the spotlight amid the ongoing tensions with Iran.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was seen 0.34% in the green, the S&P 500 was expected to gain 0.25% at the open, while the Nasdaq 100 was seen rising 0.26%.

The euro lost 0.11% against the US dollar to sell for 1.1781 at 12:51 pm CET.
