Wall Street seen lower amid earnings

Stock markets in the United States were set for a lower open on Friday as investors monitor the latest corporate earnings. Before the opening bell on Wall Street, General Electric and Schlumberger will report results, while Federal Open Market Committee member John Williams is scheduled to deliver remarks at an event in California.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was seen 0.15% in the red, the S&P 500 was 0.07% below the flatline, while the Nasdaq 100 was expected to lose 0.25%. The euro declined 0.39% versus the greenback at 12:13 pm CET, buying 1.22970.
