Wall Street seen lower as trade fears persist

United States stock index futures pointed to a lower open on Friday as investors kept their focus on tenses trade relationship between Washington and Beijing. In the meantime, market watchers also anticipated the economic data release with US inflation report due for release before the opening bell on Wall Street. Washington's threat to introduce further sanctions against Russia and its continuous pressure on North Korea also kept investors worried.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was seen losing 0.39% at the open, the S&P 500 was expected to fall 0.43%, while the Nasdaq 100 was seen dropping 0.51%.

The euro lost 0.51% against the US dollar to sell for 1.1469 at 12:55 pm CET.
