3 Israeli soldiers killed in Gaza, toll rises to 167

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Thursday the death of three soldiers in Gaza, bringing the death toll in the ground operation to 167.

According to the army statement, the casualties are a sergeant, a captain, and a major.

In addition, the army added in a separate statement that an officer and a soldier in the 77th Battalion, the "Saar Megolan" Brigade, were seriously wounded.
