Chris LaCivita, a senior advisor to former United States President Donald Trump's 2024 presidential campaign, told reporters that Trump will not take part in the next Republican Party presidential primary debate.

The December 6 contest in Tuscaloosa, Alabama will be the fourth debate Trump will miss.

On the previous three occasions, he instead organized rallies elsewhere at the same time. He commented on the third debate by calling on the party to stop wasting funds on "ineffective RINOs [Republicans in Name Only] and Never Trumpers" who are participating.
