Airbus decided to cancel the remaining Qatar Airways order for A350 planes, dpa reported on Wednesday citing industry sources.

According to the report, the aerospace company had 19 outstanding orders from Qatar Airways at the end of June.

The reported cancelation comes amid a spat between the two companies which started after Qatar Airways sued Airbus for allegedly delivering a batch of A-350 jets with paintwork and surface coating damage. The airline alleged the planes could pose a threat to passengers, which the plane manufacturer disagreed with, insisting the planes are safe.
