Alaska Airlines grounded its Boeing 737-9 Max fleet, after Flight 1282's emergency landing in Oregon.
Passengers reported a fuselage panel, including a window blowing off after takeoff, prompting the return to Portland due to a pressurization issue. Despite minor injuries, the landing was successful and the plane returned safely to Portland International Airport.
The airline, in collaboration with the Boeing Company, is investigating the incident and the 65 grounded planes will undergo maintenance and safety inspections before resuming service.
