Alstom to create 7,500 jobs worldwide

French rail transport company Alstom SA announced on Friday that it will create 7,500 jobs in 2022, including around 6,000 engineers and managers and 1,500 workers and technicians. It stated approximately 1,000 of the positions will be based in France.

Alstom said it is expanding to answer the demand for sustainable mobility, reflected in its €77.8 billion order book. "With a presence in over 70 countries, we offer worldwide opportunities to work in the fields of production, software, engineering, and services for people who want to make a concrete difference for the planet," the company's HE head Anne-Sophie Chauveau-Galas said.
