Argentina dominated Croatia 3-0 on Tuesday at Lusail Stadium in Lusail, Qatar, and reached the 2022 FIFA World Cup final.
Seven-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi hit the net from the penalty spot in the 34th minute after Julian Alvarez was fouled in the opponent's penalty box. Alvarez doubled the lead for the South American team after a 60-yard solo run five minutes later. The two players were again involved in Argentina's third goal after Messi dribbled past the other team's defender on the right wing and found goalscorer Alvarez at the edge of the six-yard box in the 69th minute.
Argentina will play its sixth World Cup final and will look to win its third title on December 18 against either Morocco or France.
