Haiti's Prime Minister, Arial Henry, has resigned, clearing the way for the formation of a new government in the Caribbean nation. The resignation was officially presented a day before in Los Angeles but was released today.
The provisional government council had previously tasked Henry with choosing a new Prime Minister and Cabinet for the Caribbean Nation.
The news comes as Haiti is going through one of its worst political crises, with nearly 95,000 people fleeing the country and security concerns due to gang violence.
