Major stock indexes in the Asia-Pacific region traded mixed on Friday after Wall Street's lower close, with investors still keeping an eye on political developments in South Korea.
Japan's Nikkei 225 was down 0.90% at 3:30 am CET. Australia's S&P/ASX 200 lost 0.43% at the same time. South Korea's Kospi Composite decreased by 0.33% a minute later. Hong Kong's Hang Seng added 0.55% at 3:32 am CET, while, on the Chinese mainland, the Shanghai Composite and the Shenzhen Composite increased by 0.16% and 0.08%, respectively.
The dollar traded flat against the yen, going for ¥150.0120 at 3:34 am CET.
