In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite lost 0.68% at 7:23 am CET, with the Shenzhen Composite sliding 1.34% a minute later. At 7:25 am CET, South Korea's Kospi Composite grew by 0.43%, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng plunged 1.63% at the same time.
Australia's S&P/ASX 200 rose 0.18% at 7:26 am CET. Japan's Nikkei 225 edged up 0.09% concurrently. The dollar stood flat against the yen at 7:27 am CET, selling for 146.13050.
