Markets in Asia-Pacific were mixed in Thursday's morning trading after the United States Federal Reserve predicted that the country could enter a "mild recession" this year. Elsewhere, investors digested North Korea's latest missile launch and awaited the trade balance report from China.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng slid 0.82% at 4:09 am CET. Australia's S&P/ASX 200 declined 0.25% at 4:09 am CET.
In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite gained 0.09% at 4:10 am CET, while the Shenzhen Composite lost 0.25% at 4:11 am CET.
Meanwhile, South Korea's Kospi added 0.09% at 4:08 am CET and Japan's Nikkei 225 was up 0.07% at 4:09 am CET. The dollar was flat against the yen, selling for 133.1625 at 4:09 am CET.
