Markets in Asia-Pacific traded mixed on Monday as investors digested economic data from China and Japan.
The Nikkei 225 surged 1.58% at 3:06 am CET. The dollar rose 0.41% against the yen to sell for 148.0825 at the same time.
In South Korea, the Kospi jumped 1.01% at 3:09 am CET and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 climbed 0.61% at the same time.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng added 0.03% at 3:07 am CET. In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite slid 0.55% at 3:06 am CET and the Shenzhen Composite lost 0.09% at 3:08 am CET after a disappointing PMI report.
