Eleven people are said to have been killed in what is believed to be Israel's shelling in the area near the Indonesian Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, local media reported.

Earlier, the Israeli military surrounded the hospital and launched heavy bombardments on the area, injuring many. According to media outlets, the attacks on the hospital also disrupted the power supply to the facility.

Last week, the aforementioned hospital went out of service due to fuel shortages.
