At least 23 killed in suicide attack on Pakistan army base

A suicide bombing killed at least 23 people at a Pakistan army base on Tuesday, an anonymous official told the Agence France-Presse (AFP).

The attack happened during the early morning hours at a base in Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, which lies near the country's border with Afghanistan.

Namely, militants affiliated with the Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
