Seven United Kingdom Tories have requested nomination papers for the party leadership, Sky News reported on Wednesday.

Besides ex-UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly, who already announced his bid, the list of Tory members of Parliament whose camps collected paperwork to nominate them include former home secretaries, Priti Patel and Suella Braverman (pictured left), ex-Housing Secretary Robert Jenrick (pictured right), former Business and Trade Secretary Kemi Badenoch, Shadow Security Minister Tom Tugendhat and Shadow Works and Pensions Secretary Mel Stride.

According to the report, Conservatives consider all of the aforementioned, except Braverman and Stride serious candidates to replace Rishi Sunak as the party's head. Nominations are set to close on Monday afternoon, after which a three-month election process will begin.
