Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry announced on Wednesday that an agreement has been reached to suspend its "anti-terrorist" operation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
The ministry said, as cited by TASS, that the ceasefire started at 11 am CET after Russian peacekeepers facilitated the deal. Meanwhile, Azerbaijan's presidency said that the country's officials will meet ethnic Armenians from the Karabakh region on Thursday to discuss "reintegration on the basis of the constitution and laws of Azerbaijan."
Earlier, Armenia said that 32 people, including seven civilians, have been killed and more than 200, including 35 civilians, have been wounded since Azerbaijan launched the operation, while Baku insisted it only struck "legitimate military targets."
