Belarus to expand cooperation with Egypt

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said the country intends to expand its cooperation with Egypt in all "significant areas that we discussed during previous meetings."

The head of state emphasized that Belarus values its relations with Egypt as Africa's most important and influential partner to Minsk.

"Under your leadership, Egypt has made significant progress in the implementation of social programs for sustainable development and the achievement of a high standard of living, positive indicators of economic growth in today's difficult conditions," read the congratulatory message to the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on the country's Revolution day.
