Belarus: Polish aircraft violates border twice

A Polish aircraft violated Belarusian airspace twice on Thursday, the Belarusian Defense Ministry stated on its official Telegram account.

"At about 15:20, the aircraft crossed the border of the Republic of Belarus, deepening to a range of one and a half kilometers. At 16:22, the helicopter repeatedly violated the state border, going 300 meters deeper," the ministry said, adding that Belarusian military airplanes were raised in response to the border breach.

The ministry also stressed that the circumstances of this incident are being investigated and that a corresponding note is being prepared together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
