Israel's National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir on Thursday urged the country's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to "reoccupy" the Gaza Strip.
"We have a historic opportunity to achieve peace for decades. We have a historic opportunity to collapse Hamas. We have a historic opportunity to reestablish deterrence, reoccupy the Gaza Strip, and encourage voluntary migration of Israel's enemies. This is what will bring peace to the south," the far-right minister said at en event in the southern city of Sderot.
Furthermore, Ben-Gvir called on Netanyahu to keep fighting in Lebanon, claiming that Hezbollah violated the ceasefire "time and again."
