Former United States Vice President Joe Biden and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders will be only two candidates to reach double-digit support in Democratic primary caucuses in South Carolina, according to the poll released on Monday by Public Policy Polling. Biden is ahead at the moment as he is set to win 36% of the vote, leaving Sanders behind with 21% support.
Meanwhile, the other Democratic presidential hopefuls are about to secure significantly lower support with Massachusets Senator Elizabeth Warren at 8%, while both former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg and businessman Tom Steyer are expected to win 7%, the poll said. Tulsi Gabbard and Amy Klobuchar are set to score 6% and 3% of the vote, respectively.
