United States President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden were reported as "unharmed" by the local media after a car hit a motorcade SUV that was part of Biden's security detail on Sunday night after 8:00 pm ET.
Media sites said that a sedan hit a US Secret Service vehicle that was closing off intersections near Biden's departure from his campaign headquarters in Delaware. According to the first reports the vehicle tried to continue into a closed-off intersection, but Secret Service staff surrounded the vehicle with weapons. The first pictures showed a surprised Biden on the scene.
The reasons for the accident are still unknown and officials sources did not immediately comment on the incident.
