Democratic candidate Joe Biden has overtaken the lead in the Pennsylvania presidential election vote count, CNN and NBC reported on Friday. He now has 5,587 votes more than his rival President Donald Trump.
The Keystone State carried 20 electoral votes and since Biden is currently at 264, winning Pennsylvania would mean that Trump does not have a shot at a second term anymore.
According to the latest update, Biden has 3,295,304 votes in Pennsylvania and Trump has 3,289,717. The latest batch of votes came from Philadelphia county and there are still an additional 145,000 votes to count in the state.
