United States President Joe Biden told NBC's Lester Holt that his "mental acuity has been pretty damn good," at one point during the interview, the news agency revealed.
"I'm old," Biden acknowledged. "But I’m only three years older than Trump, number one. And number two, my mental acuity has been pretty damn good," he added, stressing that he's "gotten more done than any president has in a long time in three-and-a-half years." Biden stated that he is "willing to be judged on that."
When asked by Holt who he consults when it comes to issues like remaining in the presidential race or dropping out, Biden briefly replied "Me," adding that he's been "doing this for a long time."
