United States President Joe Biden insisted on Tuesday that the Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline between Russia and Germany won't start working if Moscow decides to invade Ukraine.

Biden noted that the US wouldn't send its troops to fight in Ukraine in case of an attack, adding that an open conflict could negatively impact energy prices.

The prices of oil and natural gas tumbled today as fears of war seem to have somewhat eased.
