United States President Joe Biden stressed that his administration stands against what he described as China's unfair economic policies.

"We're standing up for peace and stability across the Taiwan Straits," Biden noted, noting the strengthening of the US's relations with other countries in the region. He also insisted that his administration's sanctions against China ensured that "advanced American technologies can't be used" there. Furthermore, the president claimed his predecessor Donald Trump never took similar necessary steps.

"I want competition, not conflict with China," Biden highlighted.
