United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met on Friday and had a private meeting in Tel Aviv, the latter's office revealed on X, previously known as Twitter. Following closed talks, the two then held "an expanded meeting together with the War Cabinet."
Blinken reiterated that Israel "has a right and obligation to defend itself."
Meanwhile, touching upon the subject of hostages, the US diplomat shared Washington is doing "everything [it] can to bring [everyone] back safely."
