Iran's oil minister visits oil field amid Israeli threats

Iranian Petroleum Minister Mohsen Paknejad (pictured) visited the oil facilities on Kharg Island on Sunday amid fears of an Israeli strike.

According to the Shana Petro Energy News Network, Paknejad is set to inspect oil industry facilities and meet with operational staff stationed on the island during his visit.

Following Tehran's strikes on Israel in response to the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, Israel has threatened to strike Iran's oil infrastructure.
