Bank of England (BoE) Chief Economist Huw Pill underscored on Thursday that there have been positive indicators pointing to Britain's economic recovery and fight against inflation.
The chief economist stressed that while the bank is "more confident" that it may start considering potential easing of monetary policy, it has not reached that point yet.
The Bank of England previously decided to hold its benchmark interest rate steady at 5.25% for the sixth time in a row.
