Bolsonaro says Trump invited him to inauguration

Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro shared on Wednesday that he has been invited to attend the inauguration of United States President-elect Donald Trump, set to take place on January 20.

Bolsonaro appealed to Supreme Federal Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes to restore his passport, enabling him to attend what he described as an "honorable" historical event.

The former Brazilian president is known to have had amicable relations with Trump, with both leaders pledging to usher in a new chapter of bilateral relations.
