Layoffs in Belfast will be part of cost-saving efforts, which were announced last week by the Canadian firm, seeing the company cutting its global workforce by 2,500.

Bombardier's factory in Belfast is the largest high-tech plant in Northern Ireland with around 3,500 employees.
