European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell revealed on Monday that he had a conversation with Kiev's chief diplomat Dmytro Kuleba about what he described as Ukraine's efforts to reclaim its territorial integrity in the wake of Russia's military operation in that country.

"EU support will continue unabated, our strategy works: help Ukraine to fight back, pressure Russia with sanctions and support partners around the world," Borrell tweeted.

Earlier this month, the European Commission proposed for the bloc to provide Ukraine with additional help worth €5 billion in loans.
