Chinese Premier Li Qiang urged on Tuesday Chinese foreign trade companies to "diversify markets," as Beijing continued to clash with the United States on the topic of tariffs.
"Currently, external situations have drastically changed," he said, according to Chinese State Media, underlining that China will "calmly deal with difficulties and challenges from external shocks."
He added that Beijing also plans to boost consumption, as well as expand domestic demand. Li noted that there is a big potential for the growth of China's property market.
