Chinese Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao will visit the European Union next week, his ministry said on Thursday. He will meet with outgoing EU Trade Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis on September 19.
The Commerce Ministry said Wang is expected to discuss the China-EU trade relationship and the tariffs imposed by the union on Chinese electric vehicles. The ministry stated last week that it is ready to work with the EU on finding a solution that would be "acceptable for both sides."
