The Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) forecasted in a statement issued on Thursday that the country's international trade growth is likely to slow down in the year's second half.

The ministry explained that rising prices of raw materials, as well as issues with naval transportation, will dampen the profitability of foreign trade companies.

On a more positive note, the ministry predicted that vehicle sales in China will grow during the remainder of 2021.
