China seeks to boost ties with Germany

Chinese Premier Li Qiang said China is ready to work with Germany to further develop their relations and improve cooperation, according to Chinese news agency Xinhua. Li said bilateral ties have "seen steady progress" in recent years, with development in areas including economy, trade, and technology.

Li said China is prepared to work on ways to "properly handle differences, and enrich their all-round strategic partnership." During his stay in Germany, he is expected to meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, as well as representatives from German industrial and business communities.
