Reeves: Fiscal rules are non-negotiable

British Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves emphasized on Wednesday the government's commitment to economic responsibility and public trust.

During the presentation of the Spring Statement on plans for the UK economy, Reeves declared that "fiscal rules are non-negotiable" and vowed to protect public finances. She called for an "active government, not stepping back but stepping up," positioning Labour as a force for stability and support for working people during turbulent times.
