Colombia's government and the country's largest remaining guerrilla force, the National Liberation Army (ELN), declared on Friday a ceasefire agreement in talks held in Cuba.

The ceremony was attended by Colombian President Gustavo Petro, guerrilla commander Antonio Garcia, and Cuban officials. The ceasefire will be implemented in phases and will take full effect in August.
