Cuba's president: Coup attempt in Bolivia 'outrageous'

Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel denounced a coup attempt in Bolivia on Wednesday, calling the action "outrageous."

"We repudiate the attempted coup d'etat underway and extend all the solidarity of the Cuban Government and people to brother," Diaz-Canel wrote in a post on X.

Earlier, soldiers are said to have stormed the country's presidential palace, as President Luis Arce warned of "irregular troop movements" in the capital city of La Paz.
