The death toll in the Bangkok earthquake has risen to 17, while 32 people have been injured and 83 are still missing, according to the city's administration.
Nine people were killed when the Auditor General's Office building collapsed and a search and rescue operation is underway. Two buildings in the city were found unsafe by engineering services that inspected 723 buildings, according to Bangkok Mayor Chatchat Sittphan.
Earlier this week, an 8.2 magnitude earthquake occurred in Myanmar and affected Thailand, with tremors felt in Bangkok and its surroundings.
