United States Senate Democratic Whip Dick Durbin (pictured) said on Thursday he is not sure President Joe Biden's spending package will be adopted by Congress. "No, I wish I could say yes, but there's a great deal of uncertainty within the caucus as to what's contained in the deal," he told reporters, according to CNN.

Meanwhile, Representative Anna Eshoo said Biden did not inform lawmakers whether two key centrist Democratic senators, Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema, are willing to vote for the framework. However, an administration official stated Biden "president believes this framework will earn the support of all 50 Democratic senators, and pass the House," according to ABC News.
