Digital tax under consideration - Russia

Russian Ministry of Finance is examining other countries' experience with the introduction of digital tax, Deputy Finance Minister Alexey Sazanov revealed on Wednesday.

From services they provide in Russia, foreign digital giants earn profit that is not taxed in the country as the companies "often do not have representative offices here," he noted in an interview" with KPMG. "We will strive to change the situation and tax this profit," Sazanov underlined.
