The United States Department of Justice (DoJ) building was fully evacuated on Tuesday following an "emergency order" prompted by an unspecified threat, according to Fox News contributor and attorney Leo Terrell.

Earlier this month, President Donald Trump announced his plan to appoint Terrell as Senior Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division at the United States Department of Justice.

Authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident.
