Tech company DocuSign Inc. announced on Thursday it plans to reduce its workforce by about 10% to support the company's growth and profitability goals, with the restructuring expected to be completed by the end of the second trimester.
The latest layoffs will impact around 680 people, looking at the data from early 2022 before DocuSign confirmed the first round of layoffs. At the time, it had 7,461 employees. Up to $35 million will be dedicated to complete the second round, the company added.
DocuSign joins the growing list of American tech giants that have announced layoffs in the past months, including Amazon, Microsoft, Google and Salesforce.
