Stock markets in the United States traded lower premarket on Monday, with the Dow Jones dropping 560 points, ahead of the talks between Russia and Ukraine. Oil futures soared 8%, which has not been recorded since July 2008.
The Dow Jones fell by 1.67% or 560 points at 6:09 am ET, as the Nasdaq 100 went down by 1.84% and the S&P 500 decreased by 1.74%.
The euro traded 0.96% lower in comparison to the dollar, going for 1.08301 at 6:15 am ET.
