Slovakian central bank governor Peter Kazimir said on Twitter on Tuesday that it is "crucial" for the European Central Bank not to fall victim to its ability to respond and adapt and thus diminish its counterparts' willingness to take appropriate action.
"All institutions have a role to play. The problem, in my view, is that the ECB is way too often the only player in town; this has to change. The sooner, the better," he also underlined.
Kazimir added that incomplete architecture, sluggish reform pace, as well as political bickering, are the primary reasons for the "fundamental fragmentation" of Europe and the core danger to Europeans' wellbeing.
