EIA: US natural gas inventories down by 62 Bcf

Working natural gas in storage across the United States decreased by 62 billion cubic feet (Bcf) in the week ending March 7 compared to the previous seven-day period to land at 1,698 Bcf, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) stated in its report published on Thursday.

The stockpiles decreased by 628 Bcf year-on-year and by 230 Bcf compared to the five-year average of 1,928 Bcf. The total working gas is within the five-year historical range.
