Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi called for the reconstruction of Gaza without displacing Palestinians, during a call with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen on Tuesday.

According to the official statement, a key focus of El-Sisi's remarks was the need for Gaza's reconstruction to be carried out in a way that preserves the rights and livelihoods of its residents, ensuring they can remain on their land. He stressed "the need to establish a Palestinian state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, considering that this is the only guarantee for reaching permanent peace and achieving the desired stability and economic prosperity," the statement showed.

Both leaders emphasized the importance of fully implementing the Gaza ceasefire agreement in three stages, securing the release of hostages and prisoners, and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to address the severe crisis. They also talked about developments in Lebanon, Syrian and Sudan.
