England's men's national association football team defeated on Wednesday the Netherlands 2–1 in a match played at Westfalenstadion in Dortmund to claim the second spot in the UEFA Euro 2024 final.
The Dutch were the first to score when Xavi Simons hit the opponent's net in the seventh minute. England equalized shortly after with a penalty kick by Harry Kane in the 18th minute. The Three Lions eventually sealed the victory when Ollie Watkins (pictured right) scored in the first minute of the second half's extra time.
In their second consecutive match for the title, the 2021 runner-up will face the 2008 and 2012 champion Spain.
